So you've got an Anti-virus program installed, you are (as far as you're aware) careful on the internet, but it is likely your computer is more open than you think to an infection of some variety.
So how did you get infected in the first place?
If you have a spare half hour, please visit this webpage and read about the most common ways your computer can get infected. If you can't look at it now, then add it to your Favourites/Bookmarks and view at a later time for the good of your computer security.

A number of our customers have expressed how difficult it is to reach our shop by the 5.30pm close time on weekdays. Even as we are open on Saturday between 9am and 4pm, most people want to spend their weekends doing what they enjoy!
We have decided to trial a "late open, late close" scheme during weekdays for a 2 month test period to see if a later close time will be more convenient for everybody as a whole.
So from 1 March 2010 to 30 April 2010, we will be opening at 10am and closing at 6.30pm. It is hoped the extra hour will allow for example city workers, more flexibility after the working day to drop off or pickup computer repairs.
Please tell us what you think by leaving a comment below!

Computer Origins have officially become an Authorised iiNet Agent and we're ready to show you the cost and performance benefits of moving to an iiNet Broadband connection. iiNet is one of Australia's largest Internet Service Providers (ISP), while still providing small company service!
Richard from Computer Origins has been with iiNet both personally and professionally for over 6 years and he thought it was about time he told other people about it! If you're frustrated with your current ISP's over-priced and under-speed broadband plan then consider iiNet. We'll be more than happy to sit down with you and discuss an iiNet broadband plan that will be sure to convince you that not all internet service providers are the same.
